About Me

Hello and welcome to Our Whole Tribe! This is meant to be a space that encourages us all to be ourselves, wholeheartedly, and without dimension. My name is Heather: First of my name; chef in my own home; writer of words; Marine Corps wife; and mother of 3 small humans. Once upon a time, I thought I would teach high school English, write a few books and raise a family. In the pursuit of that goal, I met my husband and the rest is herstory. I hope to unravel some of those tales in these blog pages, but also give a little insight into how we manage to move our lives around the world every few years, maintain a feeling of home, while also maintaining ties to all of the people and places that are so dear to us. It takes a village…or rather, a tribe.
