    Mom Crimes, Stuart Smalley, and How I Am Learning to Like My Body.

    Several years ago, when my oldest daughter was about 2 years old, I caught myself committing a common girl mom crime: verbally criticizing my body and the way clothes were fitting me. I was trying on clothes in front of the full length closet door mirrors in my bedroom while she played on the floor nearby.
